Mad About Crave Brothers Mascarpone Contest

Waterloo, Wisconsin—Crave Brothers Farmstead Classics Cheese is calling on foodservice chefs to submit recipes for the Mad About Crave Brothers Mascarpone Contest. Chefs have until January 13, 2012 to send their recipe ideas for small plates (including appetizers, sides and salads), entrees and desserts.

Each competition category will have a first place winner. The prize package for category winners includes $300 for first place and inclusion in a widely distributed recipe booklet. The Grand Prize winner will be awarded an Apple iPad 2 as well as a media campaign—including photography and press releases—to promote the chef and the winning recipe.

Crave Brothers award-winning Mascarpone is a versatile, creamy sweet cheese that adds its rich flavor to everything from Creamy Mascarpone Mushroom Soup and Mascarpone Pesto Chicken Rolls to desserts such as Craves’ Signature Chocolate Mascarpone Pie. We’re looking for innovative, foodservice-friendly recipe ideas that demonstrate creative and versatile mascarpone applications.

Crave Brothers Farmstead Classics Cheeses are made with milk from the Crave Brothers Dairy Farm. The cheeses are all produced at the farmstead cheese factory on a sustainable, state-of-the-art family farm. Visit the Crave Brothers Farmstead Classics website at www.cravecheese.com for details about Crave Brothers Mascarpone. Chefs should send their recipes by email to alise@cravecheese.com or by mail to Crave Brothers, Attn. Alise, W11555 Torpy Road, Waterloo, WI 53594. Entries must be postmarked by January 13, 2012.
