Crave Brothers Farmstead Classics Mascarpone Caramel Sauce

  • 6 tablespoons butter
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup Crave Brothers Classics Mascarpone
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 tablespoon rum or brandy (optional)
  • 1/2 cup pecans, roasted and chopped


In a small saucepan over medium-high heat, add butter and melt.  Add brown sugar and stir until dissolved.  Stirring constantly, bring to a boil, reduce heat and cook for 3-5 minutes or until a nice amber color is achieved.  Remove from heat and stir in mascarpone, vanilla, rum or brandy; stir until well blended.  Add pecans and mix.  Serve immediately over ice cream, fresh fruit , angel food cake, brownies, or your choice.


Yield:  About 1 cup of sauce
